Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 7:06AM In December we created a thirty second commercial for the Utah Film Commission. We're still working on the final music score, and when it's done the commercial will be used online to promote film making here in the great state of Utah. We had various concepts for the ad, but in the end we chose to make the ad solely with motion graphics.
Friday, November 30, 2012 at 7:50PM I didn't win, but I still had fun entering a competition about how my eye surgery helped me in my life. It was good to learn some new After Effects skills...and it's always fun to have an excuse to edit another ski video featuring my awesome family.
Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 8:41AM I had a lot of fun creating a 17 minute "mockumentary" for the farewell banquet of a great guy, Keith Knudson, who gave up the command of the 419th Fighter Wing this month. Using a lot of creative license, the video told the story of a man who always dreamed of being a "Dew Tour sponsored, professional free skier" and the video is hilarious mainly due to the great comedic skills of Mat Miller. That guy should've been a stand up comedian.
Monday, September 17, 2012 at 1:22PM I just posted a new video featuring Fly Freestyle team member and nationally ranked aerialist, Kendal Johnson. This inspirational two-minute video tries to capture some of the hard work that goes into staying in top form in the sport of aerial jumping. Thanks to everyone at Fly Freestyle who allowed me to shoot this video.
